Boxing for fitness! Think about it!

Boxing can be good for “everyone!” Now, I’m not talking about getting into a ring and fighting someone! I’m talking about increasing your fitness level! It may or may not include punching a bag of some kind! It may just include your foot position alone? If someone is 60 or greater in age and they fall and break a hip then you don’t have a wonderful chance of living more than another year! (Please see recent studies). Boxing foot position requires that you never bring your feet too close or too far away. Too close and you’ve made yourself like you were standing on 1 Leg instead of 2! That’s not where you want to be if you don’t want to fall! Too wide and you have additional problems! Working on muscle tone of the upper body? Great because the dynamic nature of punching a bag will give your muscles a different type of “stimulation!” So check it out!
